A rare opportunity to see Berlioz' dazzling and monumental epic in a new production ahead of the Munich Festival. 

Joyce DiDonato sings the title role in Handel's tale of scheming and intrigue and Strauss's sumptuous comedy completes the weekend. 

Visits to the Residenz Palace and the Altes Pinakothek are included.


Day 1

The tour begins at the hotel. We stay at the stylish and elegant Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski  in the heart of the old city, close to the National Theatre. After welcome drinks, dinner will be taken in a local restaurant before the performance at the Prince Regent Theatre at 18h00.

Day 2

After breakfast we visit the Alte Pinakothek to view the impressive collection of old masters. The afternoon is free for sightseeing.  An opera talk precedes an early dinner which will be taken close to the National Theatre.

This morning we visit the monumental Residenz, once home of the Wittelbach dynasty.  The afternoon is free for sightseeing. An opera talk precedes an early dinner which will be taken close to the National Theatre where the performance begins at 17h00.
